Professional Background Tim Thornton has over 18 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage. Tim started his career with CB Richard Ellis while still in college in 1987, specializing in retail brokerage. In 1990 Tim moved to Boise, Idaho where he founded Thornton & Company. By 1994 Tim added two partners and the company changed its name to Thornton Oliver Keller. In May 2003, Tim sold his interest in Thornton Oliver Keller and along with Guy Levingston and Gary Buentgen, successfully launched Intermountain Commercial Real Estate. A partial list of Tim’s current and past retail clients include: Albertson’s, Starbucks Coffee Company, Costco, Rite-Aid, Panda Restaurant Group, Qdoba Mexican Grill, iSoldit! and Red Robin. During his tenure in Boise, Tim has been involved in the exclusive leasing and selling of the following retail projects: TJ Maxx Plaza, Southshore Shopping Center, Plantation Shopping Center, Capitol Village, Fairview Curtis Shopping Center, Westpark Marketplace, Old Boise, Cole Village, Fairview-Five Mile Shopping Center, BRC Plaza I and II, 8th Street Marketplace. Columbia Crossing, Columbia Marketplace, Hillcrest Shopping Center, Boise Factory Outlets, River Quarry, Mor Furniture, and others. Professional and Community Affiliations
Education Tim graduated from the University of Southern California in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning. Personal Tim lives in southeast Boise and has four children. He enjoys the outdoors and holds the rank of Black Belt in Taekwondo. |
